Preventing & repairing

By participating in these relaxed and engaging gatherings you will hear and learn about some of the most common unhealthy dynamics we all fall into from time to time (affecting the way we think and relate to people that matter to us). It is a moment where we take a bit of time to thing about psychology related issues that end up affecting our quality of life. At the end of each gathering you will be more aware and better able to find healthy alternatives to the matter we covered.

Each gathering lasts for 2h, starting with an information and educational based presentation and ending with an individual exercise where you will have the opportunity to learn a tool that is relevant to the matter.

EXISTING TALKS

Themes

  • How not to lose sight of who you really are in the chaotic day-to-day living
  • Stress and anxiety – why am I not alone?
  • Lets talk about shame
  • Constantly thinking of the same problem? Know why this happens and want to do!

INFORMAL GROUPS

The general talks are organized in age-based groups so that participants take more out of each gathering:

  • Targeted at pre-adult (quarter-life) concerns (20-30 years old)
  • Targeted at young adult concerns (31-40 years old)
  • Targeted at adult concerns (41-55 years old)
  • Targeted at post-adult concerns (56-65 years old)
  • Targeted at golden age concerns (+66 years old)

PROFESSIONAL GROUPS

  • Resilience – how not to loose sight of who I really am in the practice of medicine (note: 4h
    gathering)
  • Empathy as a tool in the practice of medicine
  • Empathy for the health practitioner
  • Empathy the fundamental relational tool for teachers
